Khai Riley-La Borde dominant over the barriers in Birmingham

Eugene-bound sprint hurdler Khai Riley-La Borde enjoyed an ideal warm up to the World Junior Championships as he came close to the English Schools senior boys championship record for the 110m hurdles.

He ran 13.73 in the heats before clocking 13.90 into a headwind in the final to retain his title and deny Hertfordshire's Euan Dickson-Earle with 14.01. Bronze went to Jack Kirby of Middlesex with 14.06.

Riley-La Borde exactly matched his winning time of 2013 in this year's final and was again the only athlete to break 14 seconds. He now has his sights set on making the World Juniors final.
