The event had faced threat of cancellation but is now due to take place at Cyclopark in Kent on March 20

Cyclopark in Kent has been announced as the replacement venue for the South of England 6-stage and 12-stage Road Relay Championships on March 20.

The event had initially been due to take place at Stantonbury Stadium in Milton Keynes but earlier this month Marshall Milton Keynes chair Mick Bromilow released a statement highlighting that time had run out to organise the necessary road closures.

Following the threat of cancellation, SEAA president Martin Howard announced that the event was still set to go ahead and that a replacement venue would be sought. On Monday the venue was confirmed as Cyclopark in Gravesend.
