IAAF presidential candidate also talks to CNN about Usain Bolt, Justin Gatlin and more

Seb Coe has said that athletics is in a strong state, despite the recent doping allegations within the sport.

Coe, who next week goes up against Sergey Bubka in the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) presidential election, spoke to CNN's Amanda Davies who asked questions on topics including anti-doping, Usain Bolt, Justin Gatlin and more.

"Our sport is about a great deal more than doping," said Coe. "But no change is not an option now. We need to do things differently."

Discussing how much a successful IAAF World Championships depends on a successful Bolt, Coe said: "We need Usain in the same way that in the sixties and seventies boxing needed Muhammad Ali."
