A running session and lunch with the newly-crowned European 10,000m champion among auction lots available as part of Mo Farah Foundation event

If you've ever wanted to run with double world and Olympic champion Mo Farah then you might be in luck, as a running session and lunch with the newly-crowned European 10,000m champion is among the auction lots available to raise money for the Mo Farah Foundation.

Concerned you might not be able to keep up with the European record-holder? Fear not, he's promised to take it easy on whoever bags the session - unless, as a reader of Athletics Weekly, you want to be pushed to your limits, of course!

Ahead of the 'Night of Champions' charity gala on August 28, fans can place bids in a silent online auction for lots which also include a 'signed Virgin Money London Marathon package' with Farah's number and a results book from the 2013 edition of the event at which the athlete ran to halfway ahead of making his marathon debut one year later, some signed spikes, a framed Team Jamaica T-shirt from the London 2012 Olympics signed by Usain Bolt and a David Weir-signed photo.

"I am really looking forward to running with whoever wins the session and I promise not to be too tough on them!" said Farah. "There are so many other great prizes like this up for grabs so I hope something to suit everyone. I'm really pleased that anyone can have a chance to bid for these fantastic prizes."

The auction closes on August 28 - the day of the charity ball.

The proceeds from the auction and the charity ball will help fund the work of the Mo Farah Foundation which focuses on health improvement, education and the alleviation of poverty in Somalia and Kenya and also in the UK.

You can place your bids at mofarahfoundation-auction.com.
