Jason Carty recently returned from the World Masters Championships in Malaga where he completed a sprint double in the M45 age group.
He took the 100m in a British record and a lifetime best and was also part of the winning 4x100m team. Yet, in 2016 the south Londoner was diagnosed with lung cancer and the prognosis was not great.
He spoke with AW's John Shepherd to reflect on his performance in Malaga and share some insight into his training.
