New video gives a front of the field view of the 10-mile course

Ahead of this year's Morrisons Great South Run in Portsmouth on October 25, The Great Run Company has released a video of the fast and flat 10 mile course, showing the full 10-mile route in just two minutes.

The course is steeped in history dating as far back as 1212. Every year thousands of participants pass naval landmarks, cathedrals and castles. They are also granted permission to run through Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, home of HMS Victory – Admiral Lord Nelson’s flagship which achieved lasting fame in Britain's greatest naval victory at the Battle of Trafalgar.
