Olympic 100m champion Julien Alfred tests her speed in the 200m at the debut at the Hanzekovic Memorial in Zagreb on Saturday (May 24).

The St Lucian athlete was close to her PB with 21.88 in Gainesville recently and will be favourite to win here at this World Athletics Continental Tour Gold event.

A number of Brits have made the journey over to Zagreb. They include 800m runners Issy Boffey, Erin Wallace, Ethan Hussey and Justin Davies plus 1500m runner Ava Lloyd.

The latter is in a tough race led by Gudaf Tsegay, who is running her first outdoor 1500m of 2025 after having won the world indoor title in Nanjing impressively in 3:54.86.
