The 2015 British half-marathon champion replaces Susan Partridge for the event in Amsterdam

Jessica Coulson has been added to the British team for the half-marathon Team Cup at the European Championships in Amsterdam, Netherlands, British Athletics has announced.

Coulson, the 2015 British half-marathon champion, replaces Scotland’s Susan Partridge, who British Athletics says has withdrawn from the event, taking place from July 6-10, due to "fitness concerns".

"I am grateful for this opportunity and excited to compete at my first major summer championships," said Coulson.

"I hope to put in a great performance for the team in Amsterdam and I wish Susan all the best with her return to full fitness."
