Neckarstadion

The Neckarstadion, now known as the Mercedes-Benz Arena, is a historic stadium in Stuttgart, Germany, originally opened in 1933. With a seating capacity of 60,441, it is primarily known as the home of VfB Stuttgart Football Club. Over the years, the stadium has hosted numerous significant sporting events, including international football matches, UEFA competitions, and 1996 UEFA Euro matches.

In addition to football, the Neckarstadion has also been a venue for track and field events. Notably, it hosted the 1986 European Athletics Championships where Seb Coe won 800m gold and it also played host to the 1993 World Athletics Championships.
