This gentle jaunt around picturesque Richmond Park is one of the most straightforward routes, following the perimeter, and equally enjoyable in either direction.
From any of the main entrances join the Tamsin Trail, clearly signed as it crosses your path, heading left and right.
There are plenty of opportunities to leave the track and explore grassy trails through the woods, lakes and rolling parkland.
From King Henry’s Mound, near to Pembroke Lodge, there is a fine, protected view all the way to St Paul’s Cathedral.
Cafes and ice-cream sellers are plentiful, and the affluent areas surrounding the park are abundant with places to relax and refuel post-run.
The park closes at dusk.
