A round-up of some of the latest athletics results

All eyes were on the Virgin Money London Marathon this weekend, but there was other notable action away from the British capital.

Race walking

Race Walking Association Championships, Hillingdon, April 23

Tom Bosworth claimed his fifth 20km title at Hillingdon on Saturday.

The British record-holder clocked 90:29 ahead of Gregorio Angelini of Italy's 93:35.

Hannah Hunter claimed the women's title in 1:55:39.

Track and field

LSU Alumni Gold Invitational, Baton Rouge, USA, April 23

Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake won the 200m in a fast but wind-assisted 20.14.

UK Youth Development League, April 23

Team winners in the first round of the U15 and U13 leagues included:

Midland Premier North East: Rugby & Northampton, Midland Premier South West: Swansea, Northern Premier 1: Sale Harriers Manchester, Southern Premier 1: Reading, Southern Premier 2: Harrow.

Kobe, April 23

Kenyan James Mwangai covered the last 5km in 13:18 to set a world-leading 10,000m time of 27:23.04.

Dubai, April 23

Belaynesh Oljira set a world-leading 10,000m time of 31:04.59 after Genzebe Dibaba pulled out of the race with injury.

Chula Vista, April 21

Brett Morse finished third in the discus with 63.08m while Jade Lally was second in the women's discus with a throw of 63.16m.

Road

Wallsend Harriers Terry O'Gara Memorial 5km, Tyneside, April 24

Cameron Boyek won in 14:49 while Justina Heslop won the women's race in 16:42.

Blackpool Marathon, April 24

Simon Saxby won the men's race in 2:43:08 while isobel Rea, who finished sixth overall, won the women's race in 2:55:39.

Rotary Shakespeare Marathon, April 24

Adam Holland won the men's race in 2:34:52 while Josie Hinton won the women's race in 3:14:41.

Istanbul, April 24

Turkey's Ali Kaya's half-marathon debut resulted in a national record of 60:16.

Ballynahinch 10km, Northern Ireland, April 23

Stephen Duncan won the men's race in 32:21 while Laura Bickerstaff won the women's race in 39:40.
