Teams battled it out for victory at the Simplyhealth Great Edinburgh XCountry on Saturday (January 7), with GB's Callum Hawkins narrowly beaten by USA's Leonard Korir in a sprint finish and Europe's Yasemin Can dominating the senior women's race.

Laura Muir, who has started the year in storming fashion, anchored the British team to victory in the 4x1km mixed team relay.
