London Marathon: Mellor and Connor join top UK all-time results

Both also ran inside the Olympic qualifying mark of 2:11:30

Jonathan Mellor and Ben Connor went into the all-time top 20 of British times at the London Marathon on Sunday.

Though Mo Farah and Callum Hawkins head the lists from 2019, it is a generally eighties dominated list, with eight of the top 17 recorded at least 30 years ago.

The best British women in 2020 were just over a minute from making the all-time top 20.
