The competition timetable for the 2017 IAAF World Championships in London has been approved and released by the International Association of Athletics Federations.
Taking place from August 4-13, the event will feature finals in all but two of the sessions, with the men's 10,000m final on Friday August 4 the first final to take place and the men's 4x400m relay the last event of the championships to be held in the Olympic Stadium in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Sunday August 13.
The men's 100m final will be on Saturday August 5 and the women's on Sunday August 6. Both marathons will take place on Sunday August 13.

The IAAF also released its entry standards for road events, combined events and the 10,000m.
Times of 27:45 for men and 32:15 for women have been set for the 10,000m, while marathon standards are 2:19 and 2:45 respectively. The 20km race walk standard for men is 1:24 and for women it is 1:36, while the men's 50km race walk standard is 4:06.
The decathlon entry mark is 8100 points and the heptathlon mark is 6200 points.
Member federations will release their own qualification standards in due course.
