Event in Lambton went ahead on October 20 after previous fixture was called off

Following the cancellation of the previous Start Fitness North Eastern Harrier League fixture that was scheduled for Druridge Bay a week earlier, due to car parking issues, there were worries that this fixture would meet a similar fate but it was not to be and the league continued with its second fixture, Martin Duff reports.

Newcastle University’s Pat Davis was first home with a narrow victory over fellow junior Miles Brierley in the S Pack, whilst third home was Alex Bellow who was second in the first match from the M Pack.

The fastest overall was seventh home Adrian Bailes with 35:54, while the fastest woman was Charlotte Dillon.
