East Midlands Grand Prix 

Now in its 35th year, EMGP offers eight midweek races from 5 miles to 10k over eight different courses around the region. 2017 saw a record number of finishers at 3,829 with series prizes awarded. Runners can also enter individual races in advance or on the night. The series is sponsored by ASICS and the Running Shop Northampton.

Glastonbury’s – Round the Tor Races

Now in its 37th year, Glastonbury’s Round the Tor Races is Somerset’s most popular road running event and its headline event, the Round the Tor 10K, is the county’s biggest. The race features an extensive £1000+ prize list based on age-graded performances, with a cash £300 course record bonus (30:43/35:24). Complimentary photographs and race T-shirt. Supporting 5K, 3K and Primary School Mile events as well as the Glastonbury Dragons Festival to keep the family entertained.

High Easter 10k

The High Easter 10k road race and 1 Mile Fun Run is now in its third year! Taking place on Sunday 6 May in High Easter, Essex CM1 4QS at 10am. All proceeds from the race go towards the Grade 1, 11th Century Church and Village Hall. This chip-timed race will start and finish in the pretty rural village and continue along a fast and flat course route. There is plenty of parking, showers, BBQ, teas, coffee & cakes and the bar will be open!

Muir’s Miles

2018's Oldham 7k (06/05/2018) and Oldham 10k (10/06/2018) races are brought to you by Muir's Miles Events. These challenging routes are always a favourite. Why not come along and test yourself?

Shakespeare Marathon

Whether you’re a newbie marathon runner or a more seasoned athlete looking for a personal best, the Shakespeare Marathon and Half Marathon offer runners much more than a great course. This is a chance to experience world famous Stratford-upon-Avon and to run amongst some of the most historical buildings in the country and through miles of beautiful Warwickshire countryside.

Great Baddow Charity 10 Mile​​​​​​​

The Great Baddow Charity 10 Mile is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. Consistently rated as Gold Grade by BARR and run under IAAF/UKA rules it attracts runners from all over the home counties. The race takes place in 2018 on 13 May at 11am from the Recreation Ground, Great Baddow, Chelmsford CM2 9RL. Organised by the Rotary Clubs of Chelmsford Mildmay and Rivermead, the proceeds of entry fees will be going this year to Helen Rollason Cancer Charity, Families in Focus Essex and other local charities. However, runners are free to be sponsored for any charity of their choosing, or not at all if they do not wish to be. The race will be started by world and Paralympic champion Danny Crates who is also a sports presenter for Channel 4.

Simplyhealth Great Manchester Run (pictured)

Be your greatest at the Simplyhealth Great Manchester Run on 20th May. Choose from a half-marathon distance or the iconic 10k and see the city through runner’s eyes as you head out from the Portland Street start, taking in some of the most famous views on route before claiming that finish line feeling in the shadow of the imposing Beetham Tower.

Donna Louise 10k and 5k

On Sunday 20th May, The Donna Louise’s annual 10k race (chip timed and UK Athletics affiliated) and 5k family fun run will take place at Trentham Gardens, Stoke. A free park and ride from the nearby bet365 stadium will transport all participants and spectators to Trentham Gardens.

Southend Half Marathon

Havens Hospices’ Southend Half Marathon is taking place on Sunday 10 June. The seafront route is mainly flat and traffic free making it ideal for runners and wheelchair athletes looking to achieve a personal best. Entry fee is £21 for affiliated runners and £23 for non-affiliated runners and wheelchair athletes. Online entry closes on Friday 1 June but runners can still sign up on the day subject to an additional £5 charge.

Yeovil Marathon and Heron Half

Come to the newly-created Heron Half, hosted by Yeovil Town Road Running Club. The event is being held at the athletics track at RNAS Yeovilton by kind permission from Commodore Nick Tindal. The event is in aid of two charities: The Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity and the Yeovilton Military Wives Choir. The Heron Half will be run under English Athletics licence and rules, and will hold a Certificate of Accuracy.

Something Wild: Trail Running Festival 2018
