Coverage of the fifth meeting in the Diamond League series at the Golden Gala Pietro Mennea

Almaz Ayana clocked the second fastest 5000m time in history as she ran 14:12.59 at the Golden Gala Pietro Mennea on Thursday (June 2).

Greg Rutherford, Caster Semenya, Conseslus Kipruto and Caterine Ibarguen were also among the winners at the fifth meeting in the 2016 Diamond League series in Rome.
