AW promotion: Do you have the skills to help put together athletics results online?

We are looking for two part time members of staff to work between 15 and 25 hours per week to join our Athletics Data team working on the runbritainrankings.com website.

Work Schedule & House

Majority of hours will normally be Sunday to Thursday

Working times are flexible, but must have ability to respond to work flow

Skills Required/Useful

Good level of Microsoft Excel knowledge

Text Editor experience (comfortable with manipulating data)

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to communicate confidently and clearly to customers via email

High level of problem solving skills and IT aptitude

General experience/understanding of cross country and road race events including age group rules/structure

Knowledge of runbritainrankings.com handicap scheme and how it works

Regular user of runbritainrankings.com and Power of 10 and understand how they complement each other

Regular Tasks

Athlete support (via email) including user management / data adjustments

Communicate with race directors

Identifying, formatting and uploading results via excel and admin tools

Creating weekly list of licensed fixtures including course measurement details

Running, monitoring and updating weekly parkrun upload and National Ladder updates

Processing overseas and historical meeting requests

Verifying and approving athlete submitted performances

Run regular reports for submission to UKA and attend quarterly update meetings (normally online)

Candidates would work from home and at such times as required to fulfil the demand as dictated by the competitive season and the number of fixtures taking place that weekend.
