The event had faced threat of cancellation but the BMAF confirms it is still set to take place on May 14

Following health issues of some of Midland Masters AC's organisers for the BMAF Road Relay Championships, which threatened the holding of this event on May 14, the BMAF Council has unanimously agreed that its blue riband event should not be rescheduled for a different date or venue.

BMAF will therefore relieve Midland Masters AC of their adopted responsibilities for organising the championships and have taken over full control of the organisation for the event this year.

The road relays at Sutton Park will go ahead as scheduled. Organisers advise that the online entry process should open this weekend via SportSoft Online Entries at www.race-results.co.uk or via the link on the fixtures page of the BMAF website.
