We felt the previous version of the Structure had been 'left behind' somewhat by the competition in recent years. While this update is a reasonable shoe it appears that Nike have now left the 'structure' out of the shoe of the same name. While other brands have created new methods of providing the supoport It seems to have been lost along the way with this model. Ok, its a pretty good overall shoe, but now, the once ultra popular runners support shoe is now all but lost in a sea of super foam and mega-price shoes. The model line deserves better. The design is also somewhat 'old-school', loosing pace on both competitors and its own stable mates.
At this price its an ok shoe. Consider that you'll probably pick them up a little cheaper with discounts. But this once popular supportive running shoe is getting left in the wake of many other brands. AND its disappointing, the brand can do better, but for now the Structure has been left behind.
Is this a new shoe? Looks haven't kept pace with the Nike big hitters!
The structure seams to have been left out of the Structure!! No medial post this time, instead a little tweaking of the geomoetry in the aim of reducing over pronation. For a long time runners sought out this shoe for the positive feeling of support and control, now its a little hit and miss.
Nice fit and feel and good finish, just a little dull.
A strong point, good durability and good traction on a variety of surfaces.
For the money, OK, but if you want something that feels just a little bit inspiring as you run, look elsewhere.
