Our verdict

A versatile shoe that for this money offers great value. There are others in the range with more grip or more cushioning but they are more money! This model offers a great combination of all of the above.

First impressions

A nice balance between lightweight performance and daily training, the shoe is well priced and proves a versatile and good value option.

Midsole

PROFLY midsole is light and responsive, giving a more tuned-in feel with the ground. It's happy at any speed too, making the shoe great for easy runs as well as trail races.

Upper

Upper now uses recycled yarns but retains the familiar fit and feel, so it's a win-win here. Unfussy design but fits securely around the foot and offers good support.

Sole

Relatively aggresive, multi-direction lugs give good traction on a variety of surfaces and inspire confidence on rough and slippy ground.

Conclusion

Performs well in all its intended areas and given the reasonable price, is a great option. Feels lighter than many and has a nice feel about it that seems to adapt to the terrain well. That makes it a comfortable shoe, especially for those more casual off-road runs.
