First impressions

Looks good and looks like it can handle the rough stuff. Fit and feel is good too from the moment you pull it on. Familiar Brooks quality,

Familiar Brooks midsole cushioning feel makes the shoe instantly comfortable. The BioMoGo DNA is durable too so you get the same ride quality mile after mile.

As with all Brooks shoes the upper is well made with nice padding to add comfort and there are extra areas of protection around the toe and heel.

Sticky rubber outsole and a nice evenly spread grip pattern provides good traction on pretty much every surface except deep mud. But let's face it, if you are facing 10k of deep mud you'll be looking elsewhere anyway.

A solid, go anywhere shoe. Ticks all the boxes. Yes, some people will want a little more grip, but thats if we are getting into specialist trail routes and events. But as a one-stop shoe for off-road running, it's a very good option.

For a comparison, look at the Saucony Peregrine.
