Strangely, the Dynaflyte sits on it's own in the Asics range in terms of racer/trainers. If you need a little more stabilty in your shoes, have a look at the Asics Gel DS-Trainer 25 or if you want a really responsive shoe, take a look at the Asics Novablast.
The midsole makes this shoe, the Flytefoam is used in this model to its best, the dimentions and durometer (firmness) are spot on to give a soft but not squashy feel that remains responsive when pushed.
It's deep enough to provide enough cushioning for longer runs or even the marathon but light enough for race day at any distance.
The Adept Mesh seamless upper in an engineered stretchy mesh that allows molds around your foot and the shoe feels like it fits like a glove.
Low profile and light weight, the sole provides enough traction and the roads and thanks to the carbon rubber heel, it remains durable and hard wearing. The guidence line grooove cut into the sole promotes the smooth transition from heel to toe.
A well cushioned daily trainer that is light enough to enable faster paced runs to feel just that. It's a smooth riding experince too. The upper is very nicely engineered and fits well to give the shoe shelf appeal that looks as good as it performs.
